On 26th of July, our PhD researcher Hanna Wierenga and Elise Bücklein-Ehlers participated in Soapbox Science, a platform that supports women and non-binary people in presenting their research to the public.

They shared insights from their field of investigation, highlighting its importance, and recent findings to an audience without a scientific background – a setting outside their usual comfort zone. Although it was raining cats and dogs, the event at Holzmarkt in Tübingen attracted a broad crowd whose questions led to fruitful and inspiring exchanges.

This new kind of science communication was a refreshing challenge!
