Anna Willmann

I am a medical student in my seventh semester at the university of Tübingen. In the beginning of October 2023 I joined the IRTG2804. As part of my medical doctoral thesis I am engaged in project 06, which is focusing on oxytocin and reward processing across hormonal transition phases under the supervision of Manfred Hallschmid, Christian Benedict and Nina Röhm. 

In my free time I enjoy cycling, hiking and taking care of my plants. 

Ulrike Bernig

Ulrike is a medical student at the University of Tübingen and works in project P03 under the supervision of Dr. Henes. During her medical studies, she developed an interest in psychiatry and gynecology, so she immediately knew that she wanted to do her medical doctorate in IRTG2804.

In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer and doing other sports, as well as reading.

Lorean Göbel

Lorean is a medical student at the University of Tübingen in the seventh semester. He is involved in the IRTG project P07 „Neuroendocrine regulators of psychosexual health“ and investigates the association between (endogenous) testosterone levels and fMRI-measured brain activity in response to erotic stimuli in young female adults under the supervision of Prof. Birgit Derntl, Dr. Ann-Christin Kimmig and Franziska Weinmar.


Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing the piano, going on backpacking trips and engaging in projects about feminism, equality and sexual education.

Jule Sippel

Jule is a medical student in her 8th semester, currently taking a semester off. She is working on project 02, focusing on the influence of estradiol on the stress reactivity in women assessed by heart rate and heart rate variability.


 In her free time she enjoys playing soccer and loves to cook or bake.

Sandra Beinbauer

Sandra is a medical student at the University of Tübingen and works in project P03-„Stress reactivity and hormonal contraception“ under the supervision of Prof. Nils Krömer.

Outside of university, she enjoys spending time abroad, particularly in Rwanda and Kenya, where she discovered her interest in women’s health during internships.

Selin Tuzcu

Selin is currently studying medicine in seventh semester at the University of Tübingen. She is a part of IRTG2804 since April 2024. I’m engaged in project 1 focusing on stress reactivity and epigenetics of estrogen signaling during puberty under the supervision of Mirac Nur Musaoglu and Prof. Vanessa Nieratschker. 

She likes to drink coffee with friends or go swimming in her free time.

Giovanna Pimenta Nobrega

Giovanna is a medical student at the University of Tübingen, currently working on project P05, titled „Dopamine and Reward Learning Across Hormonal Transition Phases,“ under the supervision of Prof. Nils Kroemer.


Outside of university, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends, and cooking Brazilian dishes while listening to podcasts.

Judith Scharpf

Judith is a medical student at the University of Tübingen, working on her doctoral thesis as part of Project P03, titled “Stress Reactivity and Hormonal Contraception.” Under the supervision of Dr. Henes and Madeleine Kördel, she is exploring the effects of oral contraceptive use on mood changes, focusing on the connections between hormonal intake and emotional well-being.

Outside of her studies, Judith finds joy in the outdoors, singing in a choir, baking, and immersing herself in a good book.

Maya Büsser

Maya is a medical student in her seventh semester at the University of Tübingen, currently taking a semester off in winter 2024/25. She is involved in Project 01, which investigates changes in stress reactivity and epigenetics during puberty. 


In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and playing hockey.

Sina Wenke

Sina is a medical student in her 8th semester. She is working on project 04, focusing on the influence of emotional ressources on stress reactivity in women with premenstrual dysphoric disorder.

In her free time she enjoys dancing to Lindy Hop and engaging in communal projects.

Aylin Pirayesh

Aylin is currently studying medicine in her ninth semester at the University of Tübingen. She is engaged in Project 01, focusing on stress reactivity and the epigenetics of estrogen signaling during puberty, under the supervision of Mirac Nur Musaoglu and Prof. Vanessa Nieratschker.


In her free time, she enjoys all kinds of sports, cooking, and traveling.

Emily Lüdicke

Emily is a medical student at the University of Tübingen. She is currently
working on her doctoral thesis as part of Project P08, titled “anti-estrogenic therapy and psychosexual health”, focusing on women diagnosed with breast cancer undergoing anti-estrogenic treatment. She is supervised by Prof. Birgit Derntl and Serenay Yazici Sarikaya.

Outside of university, Emily is passionate about swimming and dancing. You’ll most likely find her in the water, on the dance floor, or out for a walk or run in nature.

Dominik Hošek

Dominik is a medical student at the University of Tübingen, currently working on project P05, titled „Dopamine and Reward Learning Across Hormonal Transition Phases,“ under the supervision of Prof. Nils Kroemer and Zsófia Karlócai.


Outside of university, he enjoys, spending coffee-time with friends, hiking in nature and climbing.

Laetitia Ohler

Laetitia is a medical student at the University of Tübingen. As part of her doctoral thesis she is engaged in project 06, focusing on oxytocin and reward processing across hormonal transition phases under the supervision of Manfred Hallschmid and Nina Goll. 

In her free time she enjoys reading, visiting new exhibitions, playing the cello and spending time in nature.

Grete Moeller

Grete is a medical student at the University of Tübingen. She is currently taking a research semester in order to work on her doctorol thesis as part of Project 05, which focuses on reward learning across the menstrual cycle. Grete is being supervised by Prof. Dr. Nils Kroemer and Zsófia Karlócai.

When she is not at the scanner or watching analysis tutorials, Grete likes to spend time with her friends over a cup of coffee, walking in the nature and trying out new recipes.

Greta Bechtold

Greta is a medical student at the University of Tübingen in the 8th semester, currently taking a research semester. She is involved in Project C03 “Influence of stopping and starting Oral Contraception on stress and mood” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Melanie Henes and Franziska Reichmuth.


Outsides of her studies, Greta enjoys cooking, spending quality-coffee time with friends and going for a hike or walk in the outdoors.
